Discovering Possibilities on Algorand
Changes are coming to all of my projects. This site will update as they are implemented.
Algorand is a blockchain platform that aims to achieve the "Blockchain Trilemma" of scalability, security, and decentralization. It uses a unique consensus mechanism called Pure Proof of Stake (PPoS) that is designed to be more efficient and secure than other PoS mechanisms. Algorand offers instant finality and cannot fork. This is important in the case of assets, such as NFTs, as there will only ever be one version of the asset. Algorand is also leading the way in post-quantum security.
I enjoy creating and minting fractal flame art. Fractal flames are a relatively new form of fractal created by Scott Draves in 1992. Mathematical equations create a map of color positions that a renderer uses to create the image pixel by pixel. The results are often quite intriguing and very pleasing to the eye. Images are minted as NFTs on the Algorand blockchain and made available on the Exa Market.
I also created a token for the purpose of learning how LP works. It allows me experimentation without playing with someone else's project. I named the token AlgoCard $CARD - 1183554043 after a pet NFT project and have since tied the two together. There is not a lot happening publicly with either, but things are in the works. There are 100,000 total tokens available. I do currently hold the vast majority of tokens and LP. I do not promote or suggest people buy the token. It's value needs to be considered by each individual based on what it is at the moment, not some promise of what it can become.
Currently I am using ChatGPT to create a variety of utilities and scripts to enhonce my current and future project aspirations. It is challenging at times, but the payoff has been well worth the frustration. All work is designed to build the MyAlgoCard project which is a concept that has been evolving over the last three years. I do not intend to provide roadmaps, timelines, or any other indicators. Promises made are potentially promises broken. Instead, as things are ready and delployed, I will announce it. There is a lot to come, but as a hobbyist, the work is slow. I am quite certain that, in time, my little experiments are going to bring quite a surprise.
